Hi folks -going to Sicily in late June/early July... who has done a Mt.Etna tour, who did you travel with, which one did you take, pros and cons pls.
For background, hubby and I are fit hikers, like to drink wine and eat local food, and are willing to devote up to a full day for the experience if required. Staying in Taormina and plan to access from there.

We LOVED Etna People! It was the best day in my three weeks in Sicily.
Roberto was our tour guide, we were six middle-aged women going to school, learning Italian and Taramino, and he was so much fun
We were all in great shape so he took us on a more difficult hike but you could tell them whatever level you are at
It was Mount Etna and then a winery with a wonderful lunch, and then we stopped at this water/river for a short visit on the way home
