My wife and I will be in Taormina the first week in October and of course, want to see as much of Mt. Etna as possible.
Although we will have a rented car, I have learned the hard way that when I drive, I don't see the sights. So, I am interested in any recommendations as to which company to use for a tour (no larger than a small group) company to use. We want to get as close as possible to the volcano.
Also, if any of these company offer stops at wineries in the Etna area, that also is something we are interested in and another reason I prefer to leave the driving to others.
We are both in our mid 60s but fit and athletic with no mobility issues.
