I am planning out my Sicily itinerary and it looks like we will be seeing Mt. Etna, Randazzo, and Taormina on Easter Sunday, and Syracuse on Easter Monday.
Will this be a problem? I assume some things (if not most things) may be closed. If anyone knows for sure, I would really appreciate the info. Thank you!
Mt. Etna doesn't shut down on holidays. It can erupt at any time even on Christmas Day. Some shops may be closed on either or both days, since both are holidays.
You are packing a lot of activities in one day. An excursion on Mt. Etna takes the best part of a day.
If you're on public transportation, it will be as reduced on Monday as it is on Sunday.
