Hello fellow travelers,
My husband and I will be in Sicily for 11 days in June. We will be in Catania for 4 days, and plan on going to Mount Etna. We would like to take a combination tour of Mount Etna and wine tasting. There are so many tour companies to choose from and the costs vary so much. Is there a specific tour or tour company that people would recommend? We would also like to take a food tour? We have a car and will be traveling around the Island. Any suggestions on a food/wine tour in a specific town?

A friend and I took the Etna Experience Etna/wine tasting tour in March 2016. http://www.etnaexperience.com/
We chose it because the tour guides have a science/naturalist background, so we learned about geology/flora/fauna of the area. This tour didn't go all the way to the top of Etna on the funicular though, and since you're going in June there probably won't be snow (we had to use snow shoes on the hiking part).
