Mother/son restaurant in Florence

Could it be Osteria Vini e Vecchi Sapori near Piazza della Signoria? It's really small but not sure if it's run by a mother and son.

Zeb? It’s definitely a mother-son restaurant but no idea if it’s the one you’re looking for. It’s in Elizabeth Minchilli’s EatItaly app.

Try finding the 2011 version of Rick's guidebook at the library or online to check for the restaurant. You may be able to find a used version of the book for a small price.

I looked through my 2010 RS Italy book for Florence restaurants and could find no restaurant that had a description 'mother and son' operator.

I've just combed a RS 2012 Florence & Tuscany book and find nothing like that.

The nearest was this in the "Eating Cheaply and Simply near Piazza della Signoria"

It is on Google Maps with a high rating of 4.5 and has several good reviews. There is a link to their Facebook page. Photos on the Google Maps page and on the facebook page. Maybe you could have a look and see if it looks familiar?
