I would greatly appreciate a post on how long it takes to walk from the Hilton Molino Stucky to the Palanca vaporetto stop. Also, is it a fairly easy walk along a fondamente? There is a hotel shuttle that accommodates 39 passengers per trip, but I'm interested in other options as well.

About 6 to 7 minute walk with a couple of bridges with steps.
The Fondamenta is wide and smooth-very easy to walk along.
I just now used Apple Maps, plugged in the start and end points, and chose "walk" - yup, 6 minutes including a "steep hill."
Anne, for future reference, you can use Google maps to see your routes. Just plug in your start point, select 'directions', then add your end point. You can use the options for satellite or street view to aid you.

It must be referring to the 10 or so steps up then down over a couple of bridges as you walk along the totally flat fondamenta.
Lol. Is there anything approaching a steep hill in all of Venice? Bridges with steps, for sure.
