More changes coming for Colosseum/Palatine/Forum tickets

This yesterday from the official Parco Archeological del Colosseo website:
https://colosseo.it/2023/11/colosseo-nuovo-gestore-biglietteria/

English translation is a bit awkward - and the English tab on the site isn't working for me today - but as of Feb. 1, 2024, it looks like Coopculture won't be the ticketing concessionaire anymore. I'm sure there will be some initial bugs to be worked out but it appears that along with Coopculture ticketing being bizbagged, there will be some additional ticketing opportunities such as on-site, uniformed staff equipped with tablets for immediate sales.

As well, I'm guessing that they'll limit the amount of tickets available to independent tour companies as capturing more of the revenue currently going to outside entities is one of the goals...or so I've gathered; happy to be corrected if someone knows otherwise or reads the information differently.

More to come, I'm sure, so keep an eye on the site.

PS: Speaking of the Parco Archeological del Colosseo website, I sure hope they make it active 24/7 soon versus only during the hours the park is open, as is the case currently. It doesn't help potential visitors trying to do their homework when they can't get into the thing!
