I am planning a trip to the Tuscany area of Italy with my two teenage sons and my 9 year old daughter for the last 3 weeks of April through mid May. We are looking to rent an apartment or home inexpensively during that time. I have only seen rentals online on a weekly basis. Does anyone have any suggestions for finding a possible private homeowner who has a home available to rent? Or, any other great ideas? Thanks.

I am trying to remember where I saw listings that say discount for either 2 weeks or more than 2 weeks. Any site where you see something you like but it only gives a weekly price, you might want to email and see what they can give you for a longer than a week discount. The worse that can happen is they say no.
I will continue to go through my bookmarks and see what I can find.
