Does anyone know if La Bouganville, a B&B in Monterosso, survived the flood? It's located near the train station. Thanks

Hello from Cinque Terre. I've no first-hand information about that specific B&B, but except if you want to come in the next weeks ( not recommended) I'm pretty sure that for the next spring Monterosso will be OK, no big problem for any hotel or B&B. Different situation for Vernazza which is the most damaged and it will probably take longer to completely recover..

I'm sure Andrew can provide much more detailed information on the current situation, but I wanted to offer a few comments. Based on information I've seen so far, the properties in the "new town" section of Monterosso (near the train station) were less impacted by the floods, so you shouldn't have any problems staying at La Bouganville. I'd suggest contacting the B&B prior to your trip to obtain the most up-to-date information. When are you planning to travel to the Cinque Terre? Happy travels!
