Monterosso hotels with elevators?

I somehow deleted my original question. Wanted to know if any of you have stayed at a hotel that had an elevator or at least NOT a lot of steps. Bad back issues. Trying to make it easier if possible. Put the Cinque Terre area at the end of our three week trip for this reason/in case I start having issues, at least the trip is almost completed. already checked with Hotel Pasquale and it is booked for Oct 4,5 and 6th. Also would like to be in the old town area and near the boats for touring tha area. Thanks for your input.

Thanks to both of you. Only hours after I posted this question, I thought "why don't I just type in Monterossa Italy hotels with an elevator" which, by the way, I had done for Venice. When you're over 60 mind fog sets in often!! Anyway I have a reservation now in the Old town with an elevator "Albergo Degli Amici". The reviews seem very favorable. I appreciate your help. My first time on this board. Years ago when we first started traveling to bella Italia, I use to go onto AOL Travel Board/Italy. As a novice in 1999, it was a great help. So happy I found this one.

Hi Joy. Have a look at Hotel Margherita in Monterosso. We stayed there in '09 & they had a small elevator that worked. The hotel is located in the old town area but is not as close to the water or train station as Hotel Pasquale. Although it's not as close, it's not a far walk and it's on level ground so you don't have to walk up/down hill. We enjoyed the hotel. It was modern and nicely renovated then but I understand the ground floor has been renovated again due to the floods in 2011. I would definitely stay there again. Good luck & happy travels!
