Monterosso al mare hotels

Looking for an idea to stay in Monterosso tomorrow nite. Any ideas on a good hotel for family of six.

Try in Levanto or La Spezia if you can't find anything the Cinque Terre. Last minute accommodations for a family of 6 is probably a challenge outside of the CT let alone in it.

Thank you. Went on booking.com and booked two rooms. One for four people and another for two people at the Locanda a Ca Du Gigante
for 415 euros. Much more than we’ve been spending but its our last night before we spend our very last nite at a Milan Airport hotel. Just wanted to experience another area of Italy with the family. Im a little anxious because we’re driving there and what I’ve read is a little confusing. They have parking. Im not a big traveler, so im Im hoping Im not missing something here. Thanks.

By the way it’s located in Monterosso very close to the coast. I hope the ride is truly just two hours from Montecatini.

Good to hear that you found a hotel. :O)

We've stayed at one (La Spiaggia) very close to where you will be but came by train so I don't have any tips about getting there by car. Hope all goes well!

michael,

You were very lucky to find a hotel in Monterosso on such short notice, but it's early in the season and that probably helped.

As you're driving there are two routes into Monterosso, one to the new town (Fegina) and one to the old town (Centro Storico). Your hotel is located in the new town so that's the route you need to use. Note that if you arrive in the old town, you will not be allowed to drive through the town to reach your hotel, and you'd be passing through a ZTL area so that would be an expensive mistake. You'll have to take "the long way" around. Roberto or one of the others can provide details on the correct route.
