My wife, children (4 and 1), and parents will be traveling to Monterosso al Mare in early September for a three night stay. Any recommendations for a budget-conscious apartment in the old town to accommodate us? We would also be open to a hotel if a joined room arrangement were available. Thanks!

My wife and I are returning to Monterosso al Mare in June and will be staying at Hotel Pasquale, owned by the Pasini family. http://www.hotelpasquale.it/en/Default.asp The last time we were there we stayed at Villa Steno, also owned by the same family. http://www.hotelpasquale.it/en/Default.asp
I believe we had Room 15 at Villa Steno, which had a connecting area with a bed that could easily accommodate children. The Pasini family, especially Matteo & Carla, were very friendly and helpful throughout our stay. I highly recommend these two places.
