Monte or Trastevere 1 night

We have a 12:45 PM flight out of FCO. I have two option for hotels one in Monte neighborhood which we have been to in the past and really like it. Its near a restaurant we want to have our last dinner also quite expensive and a little farther from the airport. The second option is in Trastevere for 1/3 the price but adorable accommodations. Any thoughts are greatly appreciated.

Since you’ve already stayed in Monti, why not try Travestere for a night to see how you like it for your next trip to Rome.

Stay in Trastevere also means you can catch the regional train to FCO (leaves every 1/2hr) from Tastevere train station for a fraction of the price of Leonardo Express from Termini. It takes about the same amount of time to the airport to, so no time lost.
