Does anyone know of any discounts for the cable car? I am wondering if there is a family discount as I am hoping to go up to the top with my husband and two 13 year old children. Some of the Venice sites have family tickets...just hoping! Thanks.

Interesting question! We hiked much of the way up, rode to the top and back down to the midstation, then hiked the rest of the way down. It wasn't much to do that, so I don't know what the price is for the whole roundtrip. It loks like they have a new cablecar since we were there 10 years ago. Right now they only have the winter tariffs up: http://www.funiviedelbaldo.it/it/articles/Orari-e-tariffe_89.htm There are discounts for families of "at least 3 persons". Each parent is 19 euros and each child under 14 is 8 euros. So 54 total for the 4 of you, roundtrip. No reason to think summer prices will be different, but no reason to think they will stay the same either. There are other discounts mentioned but I can't read all the Italian. I can read the fare for dogs---4,50 each way!
