Montalcino

Has anyone stayed at the RS recommended La Crociona in Montalcino? How is it and has anyone taken the cooking classes there? We're 4 ladies travelling together.

Ann Marie, Yes, I stayed at La Crociona and loved it. Check Trip Advisor, many great reviews.
For the cooking class you have to coordinate with Fiorella. It is not always available but when it is it is a lot of fun.

We also loved La Crociona-and the very reasonable cost of the room. Did not do the cooking lesson but it sounds fun. The location was good for day trips and convenient to restaurants. Two that we liked were Barbi and Grappolo Blu-Barbi is 2 miles away and GB is in Montalcino. Have a great trip!
