Good morning. I am wondering if anyone has been to Monopoli recently . I read on a Facebook post that there is construction on the main beach and I can’t seem to be able to find information about it. Thank you. Theresa

Hi, I stayed in Monopoli a week ago. Yes, when you walk along the promenade, there’s a section that you can’t access that goes to the beach. If you have a car, there’s a lot of alternative beaches or have a taxi take you to one.
I also stayed in nearby Polignano a Mare, and people were enjoying the beaches there.
