Mondo Tours -- Credit Card Charge?

I just reserved a shared Mondo Tour for our upcoming trip to the Amalfi Coast. I had to enter my credit card details to hold the reservation -- it's clear on the website that nothing will be charged until later. However, I got an almost immediate notification from my credit card company asking if an $1.13 charge by Mondo was authorized? I am thinking they may just do a "test" charge to determine if the credit card is valid, but nowhere on the website could I find any messaging saying they would do this as part of the confirmation process. Has anyone had this experience with Mondo?

It's probably a test.
I've had hotels do this. The charge is usually removed in a day or two.
You could always email Mondo to ask, just to be sure that your account wasn't hacked.

We just did 2 Mondo tours
Pretty sure they did a test charge

It’s probably legit but email them if you are concerned
They were very responsive when I had questions

Great tours by the way
You will pay in cash day of tour

It’s a hold. Done to see if your card is legit and you have the available credit. Happens many times when you reserve a hotel, car, tour.

They did a test authorization for one euro. It will disappear in a couple days.

Thank you, all! I emailed Mondo so they can confirm but your replies have reassured me.
