Monastery lodging ideas-thoughts?

What do you think of these options for a 5-7 night stay in Rome during September?

Here's a link to my original post. It gives some background info on this possible trip. If I can find a good airfare, I'm leaning strongly on taking this first solo trip.

I stayed at S.F. Romana on my first trip to Rome, liked it so much I took my 83 year old mother the next year. She loved it. Also stayed at Casa S. Giuseppe it was very nice. They are both clean, safe, quiet, and convenient.

I liked Casa Maria Immacolata. Convenient to 2 Metro stops, walkable to the Vatican. I’m not sure about English speaking at the reception since my wife spoke Italian

We thought il Rosario was a convenient location and would definitely stay there again.

I booked Casa per ferie Santa Lucia Filippini for 5 nights in September. Single room €85/night + €6 city tourist tax. I chose it for location and it has a TV which many monasteries don't have.
I also booked a monastery stay in Florence.

Congrats on your first solo trip. It's a exciting adventure.

Forgot to add that I book direct with the monasteries. Better terms than through Monastery Stays site—cancellable until a week or less before, no money up front, Florence monastery has discount for 4 nights.

Thanks to all for the posts.

I was also interested to see if any of the Rome lodgings were better bang for the buck considering the cost versus the location and amenities/quality?

Horsewoofie, Who did you book in Florence? I have a list going for that city too :)

Joby, this is the monastery I reserved in Florence. My trip is in September so I have not stayed here or in Rome yet. I did stay in a monastery in Salzburg in June. Good experience. Just be sure you know what the amenities are so there are no surprises. https://www.anticadimorasantanna.com/en/

Also stayed with Casa per ferie Santa Lucia Filippini (5 nights last November). The staff were fantastic, the breakfast offering was simple but substantive and the room was well kept. I remember a TV being listed but honestly, I don't remember there being one in the room - if that's important to you, please confirm with staff. We didn't miss it.

Definitely book direct.

Hi, I'm also wanting to book a monastery/convent stay for my April stay >> for those have stayed at Il Rosario, can you confirm/do you know that the booking site the rosario website links to, wubook.net, is secure? I've just never heard of it before so am just a bit hesitant to enter my cc details...
Thanks!

Florence - Casa …. Borgo Pinti. Cab driver said it was the best location in Florence. Lots of English speaking nuns from Africa. Best bath towels I have EVER had were there. Can see Duomo from 2nd floor

I appreciate the comments from everyone! It's a big decision with lodging for more than 1 night. I want to make sure I'll be happy with my decision.

I still haven't heard back from a few of the monasteries and I sent a second request for info:
Casa per Ferie Cornelia - Istituto I.C. Nostra Signora di Lourdes
Casa Santo Spirito
Casa per Ferie "I Cappuccini"
House of Santa Brigida
