Has anyone stayed in a monastery in Assisi? Tips, hint?

There are many religious guest houses in Assisi, most have curfews of 11 PM or midnight, many have parking available. Check santasusanna web site for listings all over Italy. Also monasterystays.com, but they charge a fee for their booking service.

We have stayed twice at the convent of the Fransican Sisters of the Atonment in Assisi. convienent, and parking inside the walls of Assisi. You can e-mail them at [email protected] You didn't say when you where going, however, they can fill quickly.

The trip is from Dec 29th leaving Jan 5th. Thanks for all the info. I don't mind curfews !
