I have read so much about purchasing the Underground tour to the Colosseum on this site. Thanks to all the posters. I called the phone number and booked the tickets for our party of four. I told them we would not need the admission, since we will use a Romapass. I got the confirmation email, and they had charged me admission, a total of 90 euros for the 4 tickets. Called back to ask if they could take it off. They replied that they can't credit my Visa, but will send a form to fill out so that they can send the overcharge back to me through my bank. I'm not overly comfortable giving out my banking info. Any ideas here? Thanks for reading.

At least you used a credit card. That way you have some leverage to dispute things if things do not go as ordered.

I would dispute the transaction with the credit card company and definitely not give them my bank info. If they charged the card they can refund it. As long as you have the confirmation email that they charged it incorrectly and will refund it I don't see how the CC company will let the charge go through. What if you don't have a bank account?
