We are leaving Rome and headed to the Amalfi Coast in May 2025. It is overwhelming....but we narrowed it down and we want to stay in Minori - (RS new recommendation) more quiet, less expensive, and decent transportation (we will have a rental car). Any recommendations on where to stay. We will be there 4 nights. I am sure he will cover it in his new book, but we need to plan now. :)
Don't know about staying there, but we are visiting Minori in April, for the express purpose of getting pastries at Sal De Riso Pasticceria. Maybe the best on the peninsula. Looking forward to it!
pastries are almost just as important. Thank you for your tip!
I’d try the usual, Booking.com, as you can plug in all parameters there (mine is always a view and outdoor space, yours should include dedicated parking). No need to book via the website if you prefer (and can) book direct, but for searching that is always where I start.
Be sure to understand the driving restrictions—there are restrictions based on license plate. If you plan on exclusively using the ferry, then I’d go without the car unless you otherwise need it.
Not sure what is in your budget, but maybe consider Hotel Santa Lucia: https://www.hotelsantalucia.it/en/
