I was looking on Trenitalia website and didnt see the MINI fares anymore.... looks like they have SuperEconomy/Economy/Base tiered system.... I had looked about a month ago and saw MINI - am I missing something?

You missed the restructuring of the fare. Mini gone and the new levels have different options for exchange or refund. Read carefully.
