Milano is a high priced hotel city. Milano, quaint, and reasonably priced in the same sentence--hmmmmm. Hotel Gala is the closest I can come up with. If you want more quaint than that, you're going to have to go to Tuscany.

Quaint isn't a word I would use with Milan, kind of like looking for quaint in NYC. Expect expensive sophistication or reasonably priced and functionable.

I recommend the Star Hotel for its reasonable price, great location and nice rooms.

Point well-taken. Since we plan to be there only for one night, clean & reasonable is just fine.
