Milan Train Stations

Good day fellow RS Travellers: Would anyone know which is the closest Milan train station to the Duomo? ty

Yes, Cadorna station. This station serves commuter trains exclusively, but also trains from Malpensa Airport if that is where you are coming from. Most mainline trains call at Milano Centrale, and you could transfer to the Duomo on the Metro.

Great ty both. We are coming from Bologna for the day and could do the 35 min walk if need be. Appreciate the quick response.

The question is irrilevant, as if you are coming from Bologna, your train will likely stop at Centrale or maybe at Rogoredo (very distant from the center, but useful to people heading to a south Milan address); no way to get to Cadorna from Bologna.

The walk from Centrale to Duomo is 45-50 minutes, not particularly interesting but for the last section; but it is a short stretch (say, 10 minutes) on metro line 3.

Just use the Metro. Far better and more useful than Rome.
