Milan Tourist Passes

Is there a Milan Tourist Pass that is legit? I searched and found two: Milanocard and Milan Pass, but upon close inspection both of these cards appear to be little more that scams.

I'd have to say that most "Tourist Passes" I've seen are borderline scams. An overpriced parcel of discount coupons you likely won't use. Just get a public transportation pass and see what you want. The "Last Supper" tickets will have to be bought on-line well in advance as soon as they go on sale for the date you want. Or else take a walking tour that has it included.

I am in general very pessimistic about the value of big-city sightseeing cards. However, there's a Lombardy card that's excellent for those spending some time in the area. The combo card, which also covers some sights in the Valle d'Aosta, costs 52 €--or less for seniors and youth. It's valid for a full year.

Abbonamento Musei Lombardia

You can access the list of covered museums and sights here: https://abbonamentomusei.it/ricerca-musei/

And here's the coverage for the Milan area alone: https://abbonamentomusei.it/ricerca-musei/?filtering=1&regione=lombardia&provincia=MI&categoria=&titolo=

I always have to right-click and choose Translate to English to read those webpages, which are in Italian. This is perhaps a clue that this very well-priced sightseeing card is intended primarily for local residents. However, there is no rule against purchase by foreigners. I did have a bit of difficulty actually buying the card in person while I was in Brescia. Some sales points seem to sell it only on weekdays. It does take a bit of time to complete the paperwork, and museums tend to have a lot more foot traffic to deal with on weekends. Although one can in theory buy the card online, I ran into a problem there; I think the application may have asked for an Italian tax ID number.

There is a similar card for the Piedmont + Valle d'Aosta as well as others for some other regions in Italy.
