Its Jan 31st. Just went on-line to get tickets for Last Supper in Milan in mid April. Looks sold out into May. Anyone have any ideas how to tickets any other way than the website.
Do you have any friends or family in Milan, if so this could be helpful. I have a reservation to view the Last Supper in early April. I had a friend who lives in Milan make the reservation. I'm not sure but I think residents get priority. Good luck.

I read somewhere that if you call, there are more slots available than if you just try online. I think that I read it in Rick's Italy book or maybe caught it on the Graffiti wall here.
Good luck.
What is the website? I'm not going until late June.
Thanks
Booking site is http://www.cenacolovinciano.org/english/index.html I just looked and there are slots in April (few) and May (plenty). They're also booking through June - so earlier poster might want to book a.s.a.p.
Make sure you get the confirmation notices they say you'll get. If you do not, you didn't book correctly and they will not let you in. I know this from experience.
Based on my experience I suggest calling. Phone numbers on the web site. A few bucks in long distance will save you massive hassle. If they're sold out, there are tours that take you there - search this site for more info.
I also recommend calling. This past summer I was trying to get tickets for eleven people. Online it didn't look like any days/times even had that many tickets, and I couldn't get the online reservations to work. When I called I got eleven tickets together no problem.
wow; what a helpful group you are. thanks so much. Also I did reach out to the hotel we'll be staying in and they said they would contact the ticket office for me. However I'm going to call per your suggestions.
thanks again.

If still no tickets after following CL's advice, try asking your hotel for assistance. A couple of years ago, the desk person at my hotel got me a ticket for the next day. He knew someone whos cousin worked in the ticket office and had a reservation within 5 minutes. Italians are pros at networking.
My wife & I were there in June of last year and found a great alternative to the ticket situation. We booked a bus/day tour which included tickets to the Last Supper as well as the La Scala opera house and the Duomo. It was very reasonable (I think around 75.00 each) I booked the tickets online at Viator.com in advance and only had to call and confirm the reservation the day before the tour. The tour was excellent and I think it's one of the only ways to see the Last Supper (without connections). Good Luck and enjoy Milan.
We are going to be in Milan between May 1 and May 3 and found same situation lie you did. We can not find an openning at all for a few weeks - I checked the site first in early january.
Then Today suddenly, one single time slot openned for 8 tickets on May 3! A Miracle! I sensed they might be holding blocks of ticket for tour companies or big hotels? And they will "release" them when time comes closer or a deal fail through.
So, keep checking back, or like someone suggested, call them direct.

I would suggest that you keep checking back at that website. The first couple of times I checked for a reservation for 5 tickets for the 1st week in April, everything was sold out. I checked back a few more times, and eventually the tickets showed available and I was able to get a confirmation. Good luck!

You can also check on the day that you are in Milan. Many times people book tickets and don't show and these are sold to "walk ins".
I totally freaked out when I saw your message because we are going May 11. I went to the website and sure enough there were no tickets left. I was so upset, but I called this morning and they had all sorts of times open with plenty of slots available. So I would definitely recommend calling if there is nothing online.
