Milan: Recommendation for Valeria at BellaMilano Tours

My wife and I were in Milan for 36 hours as part of our whirlwind tour of Northern Italy. BellaMilano Tours was recommended by RS and costs 60 Euros/hour so we booked a 3-hour tour. It was WELL worth the money. Valeria was amazing and able to change the tour on the fly based on what questions we were asking. We chatted about everything from the rich history of Milan to current events; she was truly a wealth of information and knowledge. We asked her for a lunch recommendation for after the tour and then she sat with us for a bit to recommend a few other things to do in Milan during our stay. It was a perfect tour of Milan and we so appreciated the time with Valeria.

I don't do plugs often but really felt it worth doing in this circumstance.

Ciao!

My husband and I will have approx 48 hours in Milan coming up in mid-November. Your tour with BellaMilano sounds interesting! We arrive on first day via MXP 9am. Highly likely will not be able to check into hotel (in porta Venezia area) at that time. I was thinking of doing a hop on hop off the first day, then possibly taking a train out of Milan to explore possibly Lake Garda, or Lake Maggiore area our second full day. My husband has a bad back and cannot walk for long stretches. Not into seeing inside museums but interested in the local cuisine and seeing highlights. We've been to several different areas of Italy before so familiar with trains. Would love your thoughts, suggestions, restaurant recommendations, mid-range. Thank you so much!
