I have a flight that arrives at Milan Linate mid afternoon and need to take a train to Bologna. Looking at Italo and Trenitalia schedules, each has a train leaving from Milan to Bologna once an hour. Which train station - Centrale, Rogoredo, or P.G. makes the most sense to depart from? Is one station easier to get to from the Linate airport?
Leia, If you're using Italo, you'll likely have to depart from Milano P.G. as they don't operate from Milano Centrale. If you're using Trenitalia, Centrale would be the best choice. The transportation options are shown on this website: www.milanolinate.eu/en/accessibility-and-parking/means-of-transport The airport is only a short distance from the city, so Taxi might be a reasonable option. Happy travels!
Italo Treno also operates out of Rogoredo. It is on the southeast side of Milan, 7 km drive from Linate terminal. You don't have to go into central Milan to get there.
