We will be arriving at Milan Linate airport and will need to get the the Milan Central Train station. What is the best way? I know there are buses and taxis. How long from the plane arrival time will it take until we are at the train station to catch a train?

Amy, The method I'd use is the StarFly Bus. Check Their Website for further information. The website is partiallly in Italian, but hopefully you'll be able to find the information you want. Another option would be to take a Taxi. Linate is only about 7 kM outside the city, so the cost should be about €20 (depending on traffic of course). Happy travels!

We took a regular metered taxi (from the taxi line, not a "gypsy" taxi) for less than 18 euro. It took about 25-30 minutes during commute hour (~6:30 pm) on a Thursday less than three weeks ago.
