I'm wondering if Vivaticket has changed its advanced ticket policy for da Vinci's 'Last Supper.' I have read elsewhere and often that you have to purchase online tickets 2-3 months in advance. For the past two months I have been trying to book for October, but Vivaticket lists advance booking only up to Sept 30. Markup vendors give the same information. My hunch is that October might open up on September 1. Vivaticket is still the official booking agent, yes?
I think you are correct based on what is written about September tickets under the further information tab.
I had similar trouble when I was wanting to buy a ticket 2 years ago for November. Id look at the site every couple of days. Then when it finally popped up there were none for the day I needed! I was so peeved. But about 2-3 weeks before I left on my trip I checked one more time because I had zero intention of paying such a huge mark up. And there were some available! So don't give up, keep checking!
Keep trying..daily.. I was able to book for 1st week of sept 3 weeks ago,but you must be diligent. On recommendation by the good folks here I used.

Good luck!
It is not a matter of policy and also not likely affected by the ticket agency. It's a pretty typical matter of the museum releasing tickets when it's convenient for them, or when they've solved their staffing plan, or scheduled a construction project, or approved their annual budget, or etc.
Everything was blocked until a few weeks ago for political and bureaucratic reasons between the ministry and the ticketing company. So now everything is running late.
