Milan in 2 days (Sunday & Monday)

Any suggestions on what to avoid and what to do.
Will be there in 2 weeks. Flying in from Rome and arriving at 10:00 a.m. and then leaving for the States on Tuesday at 9 a.m.

The duomo is very beautiful and it's fun to climb the stairs to the top and walk around among the spires. It may be too late to book Last Supper tickets, but call instead of booking online if you want to try. I liked the Castello Sforzesco, they have interesting exhibits of all sorts and an unfinished Michelangelo statue. I've heard, but did not see this myself, that the city cemetery is unusual and worth a stop.

One thing to keep in mind is that almost anything that doesn't have to do with the business world is closed on Mondays. The duomo is open but not much more.

There is a bus from Malpensa Airport to the train station for e6,00 per person (as Rick states). We just got back from Milan. Your hotel should be able to get you tix for last supper. Locals have to wait but tourists get first choice. However, we felt it was overrated. The painting has faded alot. Only e26,00 for two people. Davinci should have done it in fresco! Other than that not much. Lots of stores and no value. High prices compared to Florence. Do your buying in Florence. Wish we had. Enjoy!
