I will be in Italy this October for my honeymoon and we are flying open jaw into Milan and out of Rome. We will spend the first night in Milan before moving on with the rest of our itinerary. Since we will be leaving for Venice the next day, we would like to stay close to the train station. Does anyone have hotel suggestions for this area? We are looking for something comfortable and convenient. Since we are only staying here one night and we will be recovering from jetlag, we are OK with splurging a little and spending more on this hotel than our other hotels. I would like to keep the cost under 250 euro with the ideal price being between 150 and 200 euro. One other option we were considering was spending the first night in Verona. Which city do you think is better?
