DH and I will be in Milan Sept 10th-14th and have booked Radetsky B & B in Brera area. Our son will be joining us on vacation, but Radetsky is full, so I'm looking for a hotel nearby. Urban Hive looks to be nearby, but is a little sterile.
Has anyone stayed at Montello Suites?
Our option would be to cancel the Radetsky and all move to a new hotel, or just have our son stay in a nearby hotel. I don't see many hotels in Brera area.
I chose Brera initially because it looks a little outside the main tourist zone, but still close by. We plan to visit Sforza Castle, Duomo, Brera Art Gallery, and the DaVinci Science Museum and Last Supper. If time allows, I'd like to get to Bergamo or Brescia.
Any suggestions? We'd be staying in 2 separate rooms.

If you don’t mind about a 15-20 min walk to Brera we have stayed at Tocq Hotel - in the porta Garibaldi/ porta nuova district. It’s away from the super touristy area - but about 30 min walk to duomo. Close to porta Garibaldi station to get around the city.
