Any suggestions for a hotel near the main train station in Milan?

Hotel Garda, Via Napo Torriani 21; www.hotelgardamilan.com great value for the money 47 euro for a single w/bath), a couple of blocks from the station. Very helpful, professional staff and very comfortable room with amenities.

Another vote for Hotel Berna. We stayed there 3 weeks ago and it was fabulous in so many ways.

Hotel Berna...hands down. We have stayed there for years and it just keeps improving. We we there again this past August and were extremely satisfied, as usual. This is one of the finest hotels we have ever stayed in. Check with tripadvisor.com for reviews. Buon viaggio,

I just returned from Italy this week and stayed at the Hotel Garda. It is great. I have also stayed at the Hotel Berna - also very nice.....but a bit more expensive than the Garda.
They are right across the street from each other.
