does anyone know of a reasonably priced airport shuttle from milans center to malpensa airport?
we have 5 people in our party and have a noon flight
Are you hoping for a van service? I couldn't find anything on a quick search for Malpensa. Taxis appear to be at least 65E and are likely to take four people at the most.
It looks like most hotels recommend the shuttle services from the train stations. There is a shuttle bus service that leaves from Milan's Centrale train station and the Malpensa Express train runs from Milan's Cadorna Station. Both options are very easy and with a noon departure you should have no trouble getting to the airport on time. Unless you're concerned about luggage, those options are the least expensive.
Sorry I couldn't be more help with a hotel-to-airport shuttle service. Maybe your hotel can suggest one.
The Malpensa Shuttle bus http://www.malpensashuttle.it/e-default.htm is quick and easy, picks you upon the east side of the Central Train Stations. It leaves every 20 minutes, takes about 30 minutes to airport. Regular sized bus, plenty of room for bags underneath. I did the reverse trip (Malpensa to Milano) and had no problems. 6 euro each way, can't beat it.
