Looking for feedback relating to where I should book our 2 nights in Milan knowing we will need to leave Milan early morning to go to Malpensa airport on our day to depart. Any recommendations for location and actual hotels? Thank you!

I, too, need hotel for 2 nights in Milan before heading to Venice for a river cruise.
Someone out there must have stayed in Milan!

I always stay in Milan near the Centrale Train station.
Either the Hotel Berna or Garda - they are on the same street about 1 1/2 blocks from the train station and then I take the express bus that leaves very frequently from the station to MXP airport.
If you are concerned with rush hour traffic, there is also a train that goes from Milan to the airport - but I have never taken it. I'm sure others on this forum have more info on the train.
If you are 2 night in Milan, from either of these hotels you can walk to the corner to a large Metro station and take the metro lines all around Milan.
I also took a 1/2 bus tour of Milan when I was there an it included the Last Supper viewing.

Hotel Garda or Berna, across the street from each other, five minutes' walk from Milano Centrale. Train to the airport takes about 52 minutes.
