Milan hotel in historic center

Suddenly a change in my travel plans. Need some recommendation for 3 night stay where as a single person I can get a matrimonial bed. Any ideas up to $200 a night. Was going to the Brunelleschi but can;t find an email for them to ask about bed size! Needed for September 14-17. Thanks

In March of this year, we stayed at the Hotel Gran Duca di York (www.ducadiyork.com); it is also listed in Rick's Italy book. It is more of a business hotel, but was very clean, quiet, comfortable, served an excellent breakfast, and had a very helpful staff. Location-wise, it is literally across the street from the Pinoteca Ambrosiana and 5 minutes walk to the Duomo. We would definitely stay there again.

Here is a second for the Hotel Gran Duca di York. We stayed there in 2008 and really liked it. We had a very nice room and the location was excellent.

Oops, no room at the Duke so I am going with the first suggestion at UNA hotel. Thanks to all.

If you haven't found a room yet, you might consider hotellondonmilano.com. Our 2 daughters (adult) and I stayed there in 2009 and thoroughly enjoyed it. The breakfast room is extremely tiny but manageable. The staff was absolutely fantastic and very helpful and caring when trying to "find" (meet up) one daughter who arrived on a different flight.
