I use Kayak.com for prices, and Tripadvisor for ratings. That works pretty well. Lots of hotels in that area.

Carolyn, Check your local Library for a copy of the Italy Guidebook, as there are a few Hotels near the station listed there. You might have a look at Hotel Garda, although it may not be in the "affordable" category. Happy travels!
