Planning on visiting Milan Duomo Sept 2024. Combo tickets provide access to multiple facilities. Website tickets are timed, but good for 3 days. Is the time for first access? Can I visit the rooftop early in AM, and return in the afternoon to visit the church, etc.?

Following too as I don't really want timed tickets. I understand that ticket lines to the self pay machines on site move quickly. Is that true right now when it's so busy with tourists in Italy?

I contacted Duomo directly regarding this question, and here is their response:
“Dear visitor,
thank you for your message.
Fast – Track Pass tickets are valid 3 days from the date picked, with one entrance per each site within the opening hours. The selected time slot refers to the entrance to the Duomo Terraces, from which it is then possible to descend directly inside the Cathedral via stairs.
The entrance time selected for the visit is purely indicative and not restrictive.
