Milan Airport (LIN) to Train Station Transfer Recommendation

Hello - I searched old topics but didnt see anything recent. I am looking to book private transfer for a family of 4 from LIN to Milan Central train station June 1. I have a found a few sites but the majority seem to be third party with mixed reviews and prices varying from $65-100 for a private van. Does anyone have a recommendation of a company to prebook OR what is this groups thoughts on LIN taxis for 4 people and 3 pieces of luggage.

Thanks -

Check out the line of official white cabs waiting outside the arrivals. If there is no "6 seater SUV" waiting for customers, walk a little further and get on the first "5 € pp shuttle" departing to Centrale. You'll fill it up and the driver will leave right away.

Unless you're arriving in the early morning/late night I see no reason to make it harder than needed. Linate is so close to the city center that at most you'll pay € 35 on the meter.

Thank you for the advice - with those options, it makes the pre arranged transfer not necessary. Do you know if the taxis take credit card?

They do take credit cards. Although they prefer hard cash because taxi drivers are big tax cheaters, so occasionally they might say their POS is broken or there is not enough mobile phone signal, or any similar BS. Do not leave a tip to taxi drivers, all of whom are owners of the taxi car and the medallion. A tip is not customary, it is not expected, and it is immoral to reward monopolists who did the impossible to lobby the government to ban Uber from operating in Italy.
