Another related question: I have been researching getting to the airport in milan, and it seems a little complicated. (Catching flight to Atlanta)how much time should I allow before my flight time to get from Milan Central train station to the international airport?

Kelly, Actually, it's not complicated at all. I'm assuming your flight departs from Terminal 1? From Milano Centrale, you can either use the Malpensa Express (train) or the Malpensa Shuttle (Bus). Travel time will be about 50 minutes or so (the train of course isn't affected by traffic). If you're staying in Milan the night prior to your flight, and your hotel is closer to the Duomo, you can also take the Malpensa Express from Milano Cadorna station directly to the airport. Thanks. I have emailed a couple of Rick's recommended hotels near the Duomo. I think we will leave Monterossa one day early and head to Milan for the night before our flight to Atlanta.
