Does anyone have any suggestions for a clean, moderate hotel in Milan reasonably close (~15 min. walk) to the Duomo? My husband and I will be there for 2 nights in late July. Thank you.

My wife and I will be in Milan in May and have booked a room at the Hotel Vecchia Milano. It's in the old town and reasonable. Found it in Rick's Italy 2012. Of course, we can't yet give it a review.

We stayed at the Best Western Major two years ago. It's a great location by a metro stop, has very large, comfortable rooms with a large breakfast buffet. You can be in front of the Duomo, via metro, in 15 minutes. By the way, the Best Western hotels in Europe are a lot nicer than here in the States.
