Working in Milan. Very little time to poke my head outside as of yet but would love a few out of the ordinary, special and/or spectacular suggestions for food and things to do when I have a few hours.
I'll definitely enjoy them. Thanks.
Go to the Duomo and take the elevator to the roof, see the gargoyles up close. The Brera Gallery, Castello Sforzesco and the Parco Sempione should give you some things to do. Not out of the ordinary but if you haven't seen these, you might enjoy them.
Well, as one of the most talked about paintings, The Last Supper comes to mind. The Boschi Di Stefano Museum-Home is unique. Treasure trove of 20th Century Italian Art. The Cinema Museum. The Canals. Chiesa di San Maurizio al
Monastero Maggiore Frescos. Lastly, learn about aperitivi. Milan claims to have the best. I found the venerable Moscateli offerings to my taste. Trattoria Toscana was a pleasant surprise as well.
Sorry if my original posting made it appear that I was unaware of Milano's most well known attractions and I do appreciate the time and effort taken to respond. Especially grateful for the out of the way and little known surprises that I've received.
