Can't wait to eat my way through Italy in September. But I am tasked, happily, to find our location for our Anniversary Dinner in Rome. Please help! Where to go for dinner on the special day?

Thank you!
My favorite meal in Rome last year was Renato e Luisa. The website is only in Italian, but it lists frequent menu items and has a contact number for reservations. We ate there twice, it was so good. They have a blackboard menu that changes daily, that's why the website lists frequent items but not an actual menu. We ate our way through the full meal both times (though 3 weeks apart), starting with amuses bouches, then pasta, meat, side dishes and dessert. Yes, gluttonous. But every bite was delicious. No view though. It's on a small side street near Campo de' Fiori and doesn't have a terrace. Not a lot of a English spoken by staff or patrons, but enough to get fed, assuming you study up on Italian menu items in advance or bring along this very handy little guide: Eating and Drinking in Italy
