I fly out of Marco Polo airport and will be staying in Mestre, hopefully near the train station. Does anyone have a good recommendation for a hotel in that location?

Nice and modern, across from station. See if prices are good for your dates.

We stayed at the Best Western Hotel Bologna several years ago. It was very modern, clean, quiet, conveniently located across the street from the train station and reasonably priced. It might be worth checking out.
