How can I get a train from the cruise port in Messina to take me to Isola Bella. Once off the train is the beach in walking distance.
What are the exact names so I can navigate is on trentilla: train website.

from MESSINA CENTRALE
to TAORMINA-GIARDINI (or LETOJANNI). Isola Bella is between the two stations.
Isola Bella is almost 4 miles north of the Taormina-Giardini station. It’s flat along the sea, but a long walk. There might be buses and certainly there are taxicabs that can take you there.
The station of Letojanni comes first and is actually slightly closer (2.5 miles) but not sure if taxicabs there are as available as at the Taormina station.

Isola Bella is a picturesque little island near Taormina, in Sicily. When we visited it, we were staying in Taormina. We took the funicular down to the beach and walked to Isola Bella. But coming from Messina, you'll need to follow Roberto's directions. Will you be going back to Messina, to the cruise port, on the same day?
