I will be coming into Messina on a cruise ship with my family of 10. Any ideas on how we should spend our day. I noticed there is a train from Messina to a beech called Iso Bella? Has anyone used the train to get there. Is it within walking distance of the station and was it worth the trip. We like to swim and snorkel.

I'm guessing you're referring to Isola Bella ("beautiful island"), near Taormina. I'm not sure what information you received, but there is no train to Isola Bella. In fact, the train doesn't go to Taormina either. It stops in Giardini Naxos at the base of a hill below Taormina. Then you'd have to bus or taxi into Taormina and walk or take a cable car to Isola Bella. It is beautiful, but you'd have quite a bit of transportation time to get there.
