Maggie, at cruisecritic.com you can get information on every port on your itinerary. Personally, I didn't find the Rick Steves book on Med. cruise ports very helpful at all, which surprised me.

He, as far as we know, or his staff do not regularly read or contribute to this Helpline which, while supported and underwritten (and occasionally edited to suppress malicious posts) by the Europe Through The Back Door organization is completely operated by private travelers who volunteer their time to contribute answers drawing on their personal experience - hopefully to your benefit.
