Does anyone have an idea of what to do in Messina? We will be here one day. Also what is the best way to get from the port to town?

Walk. Take a cab/train/bus to MT Etna. Lots of fireworks now. Or do the same to Taormina. Use CruiseCritics.com to see the answers to all of your cruise/port questions. and have a great time!
