Meridiana JFK to Naples

Just for future reference or for anyone else reading this. If you have already bought your tickets, there is not much you can do. The time to ask those questions or check on an airlines policy or their reviews, etc would have been before you purchased your tickets, not after. Those reviews you read would have been the same.

Despite what anyone says, it's too late for you to do anything, unless you are just going to discard your tickets and purchase new ones.

As for the baggage policy, you already have that information. Airlines can be very strict and they love to charge extra fees. So, based on what you are saying your baggage might be too big and you will likely be charged extra.

Anyway, no one here can answer your questions with any authority, You are better calling the airline directly. From your post it seems you are over the limit and might have an issue with the stroller and car seat. Again, it's best checking with the airline. However, once you are at check in, you can always ask again. Maybe you will be lucky, but it's doubtful.

As for posing these questions here - the best anyone can give you is anecdotal information as you are asking questions that only the airline can answer.

Even if someone in this forum told you your bag or stroller is fine - once you are at check in the airline will enforce their policy.
Try telling tem someone on the Rick Steves forum said it was ok.

Thanks for your response. I was looking to hear about other's experiences, I do realize that the airline is the ultimate authority. However, as you read in my post they gave me conflicting information, hence I posed the question.

I have flown Meridiana a couple of times. Plane was late each time. Small animal accepted in cabin on earlier request. Plane was full. Else ok. Nothing else to say.

I do not think you would need to pay for a child seat. Just make sure with the airline.
